Apple Tart with Custard Homemade apple tart – a winning combination of delicate sweet pastry filled with heavenly scented apples – simply can’t be beaten. To ring in the changes, mix the apples with blackberries or try a mixture of rhubarb and strawberry. The proceeds of this year’s event will go towards the purchase of an Outside Broadcast Unit, which will enable the station to get out and about more often and more easily.
