From The East Cork Journal.

Youghal RNLI were pleased to receive a donation from the Freemason Lodge 68 situated across from the lifeboat station on The Mall.

To mark the opening of the Supper Room Museum and the completion of recent refurbishments to the ground floor of the Masonic Lodge, the members held a dinner in the Walter Raleigh Hotel, followed by a raffle. The Proceeds of this raffle were divided between Youghal RNLI and The Community Hospital, Youghal.

Derry Walsh, Lifeboat Operations Manager said: ‘We would like to thank everyone involved in this donation.  As a charity that receives no funding from the Government, donations like this are vital to ensure our volunteers and lifeboat are always ready when called upon in an emergency.’
