Youghal4All, once again, are organising the St Patrick’s Day Festivities and Secretary, Helen Heaphy Grainge, is calling on clubs, groups and organisations in Youghal and the surrounding areas to come out and support this year’s Parade, by entering a float prior to the closing date for entries, which is Sunday, 10 March. The theme for the Youghal Parade on Sunday, 17 March is of course, “Youghal Welcomes Ironman”. The Grand Marshal of the Parade has yet to be announced. Any group wishing to enter is asked to talk with any member of the Youghal4All committee, ring Helen on 083 3732221 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Speaking ahead of the St Patrick’s Day Parade Helen Heaphy Grainge said; “The Parade continues to be as popular as ever for entrants and spectators alike. We are asking all clubs, groups, businesses and societies to get involved again this year, and would really be thrilled with their participation. To help cover costs, we are asking for a small donation of €20 for entry”.
All entrants are asked to assemble on Brehon Road for 2.15pm. Children must be supervised at all time. Dogs are welcome ONLY on a lead, and please remember to bring pooper scooper. No bucket collections are allowed on the day to keep the ethos of the Parade as a free family event.
