On Friday, 8 February from 8 to 10pm, the Greywood Arts Studio in Killeagh will be holding a “Shop and Swap” fundraiser. Speaking with owner, Jessica Bonenfant, she said, “Admission is just €5 and all funds raised on the night will support our Community Arts Programming in 2019. Coming up this Spring we have Groundwork, Design in Nature Workshops with Carol Anne Connelly, Forest School for Teens with Noelle O’Regan and Rob Ireson, and so much more. We will also be producing the Creative Killeagh May Sunday Festival once again”.
As January finally comes to an end and the first day of Spring is almost here, Greywood Arts invite you to clean out your wardrobes and find a few pieces, still in good condition, that you are willing to part with. Bring those items along to the studio on the night and leave them in the Swap section. Grab yourself a complimentary glass of Prosecco and have a browse. Perhaps you’ll find a special pre-loved something that catches your eye and decide to give it a new home! Alongside the Swap section there will be an area headed Shop, where some fantastic vintage clothing and accessories will be on sale.
Confirmed vendors on the night so far are Peach Vintage & Retro Style, Fab Fillies Hat Hire and Lola Lola Vintage. A unique way to collect some great pieces without breaking the Bank, and all for a good cause.
