The young children of Chatterbox Dance School, Youghal, came together in Brú na Sí last week to present cheque for €596 to Helping Hands Homeless Action Group, Cork which was raised by the entire members of the Dance School, ranging in age from as young as 3 to 17 years, who were involved in the Annual Christmas Charity Show to raise funds for the very deserving Charity.

Artistic Director, Lisa Meany, said she was very proud of the young dance students who worked so hard to put on a fantastic Show, which was supported on the night by family members, friends and neighbours.

Mary Williams, accepting the cheque on behalf of Helping Hands Homeless Action Group, said “every cent raised goes to help the homeless-organising beds, food and warmth for those who otherwise would be sleeping in doorways or alley ways with no hope”. Mary thanked Lisa and her talented dance students for their kindness, thoughtfulness and help. “They are truly an amazing group of people” she said, “and Helping Hands is very thankful to them for their support of our Homeless Action Group”.
