Community Radio Youghal is running a course for people over 55 years of age. The purpose of the course is to explore how radio and TV shapes the world we live in and participants will also make a radio programme as part of a group.
No specific prior knowledge is required and it is particularly suited to people with an interest in current affairs or community issues. It is also suited to those considering volunteering with Community Radio stations, those who wish to build their confidence in communicating, and those wishing to gain a basic understanding of how the media production process works.
Start Date: 8th October 2015 for 8 weeks.
