Irish Guide Dogs Annual Open Day

Print
On Saturday 29th August the Irish Guide Dogs national dog training centre on the Model Farm Road Cork will open its doors to the public for its Annual open day from 12 to 4pm. The day is a great opportunity to meet and interact with puppies in training and working dogs, such as Guide Dogs for people who are visually impaired and Assistance Dogs for children with autism.

The day gives the general public a real insight into the workings of the centre and the great work the working dogs do. There will be dog parades and a puppy Olympics, a farmer’s market, craft fair, food stalls, bouncy castles, face painting and lots of other children’s entertainment.

Admission at the gate is €5 for individuals and €10 for a family. Check out www.guidedogs.ie for further information and directions to the centre.
