East Cork Junior ‘B’ HC; Killeagh 1-10 v Youghal 1-17 played in Ballynoe Tuesday July 15th
Junior football training has resumed after a break for exams. Training for both A and B teams takes place on Mondays at 8 pm for an hour. Both teams are well positioned in their respective leagues and also will have championship matches coming up in the near future so it’s important that everyone makes an effort to attend training. It was great to have a few new faces at training last week and all newcomers are more than welcome.
Junior Football Challenge Game
On Monday last we travelled away to Tallow for a challenge match, our team was made up of a mixture of both panels and we had a good work out while also coming away with a victory on a scoreline of 2-8 to 9 points.
Classic 2014 was a brilliant success. A record 146 teams played and our number of sponsors was also well up on recent years. We had 3 major sponsors to whom we are very grateful and our thanks goes to JJ FENNELLY and JAMES ROCHFORD for providing this major sponsorship. We must also thank West Waterford Golf Club for the use of their superb course and also thank their catering staff for the excellent job they did over the 3 days.
