A documentary on the connection between Youghal and the Snooker Championships in Killarney is now available to view online. Youghal CYMS have had teams involved at the Munster Snooker Championships for 30 years now. Friday 23rd June is CRAOL National Community Radio Day. This is the third year of the nationwide initiative. Community Radio Youghal, along with up to 40 other established and developing community radio stations across the country, will mark the day with the help of its staff, volunteers, friends and followers. This year, CRY104fm will be doing an OB on the main street in Youghal, featuring local guests, giveaways and more!
Community Radio Youghal hosted its first -ever road race last weekend and it has been hailed as a huge success. Almost 80 runners took the start line in Youghal on Saturday evening, for the inaugural running of the Tale the Whale 5km Fun Run. The event was organised by CRY in association with the Moby Dick Festival. All proceeds were in aid of CRY104fm. Conor Tierney of East Cork AC won the race.
