On Saturday, 29th August Ladysbridge Tidy Towns and Ladysbridge Hall Committees are holding an event for National Heritage Week. Meeting at Ladysbridge Hall at 3 p.m. on the day, join us for a tour of the village led by a very special guest – a recreation of the lady in the oldest photo that exists taken in Ladysbridge village in the early 1900s and whose likeness is depicted on our new heritage signs and village logo.
She will lead us on an entertaining tour of the village as it would have looked in her time and we will stop at the Ballinacurra Road junction to recreate the original photograph. Then we circle back to Ladysbridge Hall where we invite you for afternoon tea and a display of memorabilia and photographs from the village over the years. This is a lovely opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new, and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ladysbridge Hall with us. We hope to see you there!
