Irish Guide Dogs Celebrates World Autism Awareness Day

The Irish Guide Dogs Charity is celebrating World Autism Awareness Day by hosting a coffee morning and bake sale on Wednesday, April 2nd from 10.30am to 12.30pm at its National Headquarters, Model Farm Road Cork.

World Autism Awareness Day is an annual day of awareness, to focus global attention on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Come along to support the coffee morning – meet some of the dogs and get a tour of the National Headquarters and the kennels!

All funds from the event will go towards our Assistance Dog Programme for children with autism.

Irish Guide Dogs is a national charity providing services to persons who are blind and vision impaired and children with autism. The national charity is more than 80% funded through voluntary donations and fundraising events. One dog costs €38,000 to train over the course of its lifetime.
