On Tuesday last representatives from the group-
John Kelly, Helen Keane and Kay Donnelly
– picked up their prize at CRY studios.
Youghal Celebrates History were awarded the prize for their promotion and development of Youghal’s heritage. The annual conference held by the group has gone from strength to strength over the years. The event has covered a range of topics such as Youghal’s Maritime Tradition, the Life and Times of Sir Walter Raleigh and the Fitzgeralds of Desmond.
Youghal’s future is in it’s past! Well done to all involved on the fantastic work they have done in preserving and promoting our wonderful heritage.
