Only 5 weeks to Christmas eeeekkkkk!!! Am still really focused and hoping to get into double digits this week…the elusive 10 lbs +. Am pulling out all the stops this week as I am training in the morning and going to Aqua Aerobics in the evening. This helps with my knee injury and I really enjoy the class!
I have come up against another unforeseen problem now….callouses! Yes my poor hands have developed callouses and they are really sore…I didn’t reckon on this problem happening but now this leaves me with another dilemma….do I take the big step of buying myself a pair of fingerless weight lifting gloves??? This is a big decision for me, as it means I have taken a further step along in my gym life…or will I just stick with the hand cream?
I am really excited about the wonderful prize that the Aura have given me for 3 lucky listeners. 3 months free gym membership starting in December for 2 listeners and starting in January for 1 to follow me on our very own Operation Transformation! We would also like to support the Aura on their Christmas Gifts for CUH Childrens Ward appeal. They are asking people to donate one Christmas Present for Children who will be spending Christmas in Hospital. Please drop in a new toy wrapped with an indication of the sex of the child and the age group along with a Christmas Card to the Aura before the 22nd of December. Please remember that used toys cannot be accepted! There are 64 beds in the Childrens Ward and they are hoping to get that amount of presents to ensure that no child is left out. Please support them.
