“The Curraghmore Hunt” is a painting depicting notable people of Co. Waterford, all attired and ready for a day’s hunting, way back in 1820. The subjects in the painting, names available, are all of the local gentry. Guest speaker, well known Co. Waterford, writer, illustrator & historian Kieran Heffernan will speak to Youghal Ailbrin Society on “The Curraghmore Hunt” and its association with the local gentry of 1877. Fascinating stuff and it will be a wonderful evening and gathering.
